Viking: Battle for Asgard puts the player in the role of Skarin, a warrior of the southern lands, which elected Freya, Goddess of War. His task - to compete with the goddess Hel, daughter of Loki, the evil god of the North. She was expelled from Asgard after she did not obey the orders of Odin. Now she intends to release Fenrir, the wolf god, who should bring the apocalypse and the fall of Asgard. The events of the game take place in the world of mortals, Midgard.

The combat system Viking: Battle for Asgard very ambitious, and sometimes you have to fight together with hundreds of enemies. To crack down on so many enemies, the hero is able to perform more than one hundred different techniques. In addition to normal attacks, Skarin has the ability to summon a dragon and turn opponents into werewolves who are beginning to rub his former allies.
